Immigrated to Marion, Kansas on 21 Feb 1876. Arriving with them were Adam's brother Georg Heinrich Schlotthauer and Heinrich's wife Maria with children, Maria, Friedrich, Christoph, Elisabeth, Margaretha, Heinrich, Adam, and David.
Other known siblings were Maria Katherina, born 14 Aug 1837, at Dobrinka, Russia, married to Wilhelm "Kaiser Bill" Weber; Georg Peter born 30 Aug 1844, at Dobrinka, Russia, married Maria Katherina Stirtz.

Note that Susanna Katharina Schlotthauer, born 1 Jul 1857, who married Reinhardt Ruhl, was born in Kraft (not Dobrinka). She was not part of the Schlotthauer's from Dobrinka, but a distant cousin.
Zella "Mae" Anderson, daughter of Annie Florence Schlotthauer and Thomas Anderson. Mae was born 1 May 1918, at Hornbrook, California, died 18 Sep 1979, at Grass Valley, California. She married Benjamin Henry Schafer on 21 Sept 1939. He was born 16 June 1906, a tMcCluskey, North Dakota. His parents were Conrad Schafer and Marie Huber. Mae's daughter, Darline Kiley, is compiling the family history.
